Lincs-based Manor Fresh, specialist supplier of potatoes and vegetables to the UK market, has recently awarded a contract to Gist to become a key logistics provider.

Gist's transport operation now collects around 2.75 million cases of fresh vegetables each year from UK sites in Lincolnshire, Chipping Campden, Inverness and Arbroath.

Manor Fresh were impressed by Gist's extensive network coverage and their RFID cross-dock capability that complements Manor Fresh's business operations, enabling them to deliver improved accuracy to their customer.
